Hey Jo I doubt that you'd find anything on google about him, it's not like its major news. In fact it's probably more common than you think. I think a lot of people get disillusioned with the design industry and seek other avenues to fulfill their sense of self worth. And back to an earlier point about distance, I think New Zealanders have a unique position in the world both geographically and economically, one that allows us to view the nationalistic trappings of larger more dominant countries and test our own idealistic policies without effecting (too drastically) border states, both through environmental and economic policies. I think this distance is in incredibly important and allows us a sense of self awareness that Canadians can only dream of... tee hee...
