A friend sent me this link to an excerpt of a film about the subconscious art of grafitti removal. It's all about how the dull task of removing graffiti from public property has become the next step in the progression of modern art and even goes as far as classifying the different patchworks of paint, suggesting that aesthetically, this practice is similar to abstract expressionism, minimalism and Russian constructivism...but the people doing it are usually completely unaware that they're creating a new art form.
