Op-Art: The Lost Summer

"So what did you manage to do this summer? Did you accomplish everything you set out to accomplish before Memorial Day? Clean your garage? Build a campfire? Paint a wall? Take in a ballgame? Sleep under the stars? If your summer wish list remains unfinished, despair not. You’re not alone. The notes you're about to view were gathered by Illegal Art, a collective of artists in New York, which used 6,000 Post-it notes to spell out the words “To Do” on windows and billboards across the city. Passers-by were then invited to write on the blank notes, to cover them with descriptions of tasks they hadn’t gotten around to this summer. A few of the collected notes are presented in their original handwriting — a catalog of unfinished business, just waiting for fall"

Melissa, this is similar to your piece on obsessions although post-its about things to do.
